Week 2: How to Build Unshakable Belief in Yourself
You’ll never outperform the belief you have in yourself.

Most athletes want to do something big with their lives and careers.
But here’s the truth:
You’ll never outperform the belief you have in yourself.
You don’t rise to the level of your goals —
you rise to the level of your identity.
Jalen Hurts: Rewriting the Narrative
When Jalen Hurts was benched during the national championship game at Alabama, the world had questions.
Was he overrated? Was his confidence shattered?
He stayed. He trained. He transferred.
And at every stage, he made a decision:
To believe in the version of himself that no one else could see.
From backup… to starter…
From drafted late… to MVP runner-up and Super Bowl quarterback.
His skills improved —
but what really shifted was his identity.
Every leap he made…
followed a belief upgrade.
The Formula Never Fails:
Belief → Behavior → Results
Your Beliefs Are Not Set in Stone
Here’s the truth:
Most of the beliefs in your head right now didn’t come from you.
They came from your environment:
Parents. Coaches. Teammates. Social media.
People who don’t know your full potential.
People who projected their limits onto you.
But those beliefs are not facts.
They’re just scripts — and it’s time to rewrite them.
Your Weekly Assignment: Rewire the Belief System
Take out a notebook or your phone — and answer these questions honestly:
1️⃣ What beliefs do you have that are holding you back?
(Ex: “I’m not a go-to player when the pressure’s on.”)
2️⃣ What are you afraid might happen if you let go of that belief?
(Ex: “If I stop believing this, I won’t have a backup excuse.”)
3️⃣ What’s the cost of this belief?
(Where has it limited your growth, your stats, or your opportunities?)
4️⃣ Why is this belief false?
(Get real. Find proof that this belief isn’t the full truth.)
5️⃣ What’s the new belief you need to lock in?
(Write it clearly. Make it empowering. Make it yours.)
6️⃣ Anchor it daily for 5 minutes.
Say it. Visualize it. Feel it.
Repetition builds identity.
You weren’t meant to live a small version of your story.
You become great by first believing you can be.
Build the identity that matches your dreams — and go show the world.
